DHH Med Spa’s injectors and aestheticians take great pride in providing the utmost comfortable experience for our patients.
Prior to performing the PDO thread lift, your aesthetician will apply Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to numb the treatment area. We also recommend taking Tylenol before your appointment to minimize pain and swelling.
Most patients report little to no pain with PDO threading, and are able to return to work or their normal activities the same day. Mild swelling and bruising post-treatment has been reported, lasting anywhere from days to up to two weeks.
We advise waiting at least a month for any dental procedures after your PDO thread lift or other PDO thread procedure. We also recommend avoiding any “jarring” activities for a month after the procedure.
