What is the Medical Grade Facial Rejuvenation?

Full Facial rejuvenation is one or our favorite treatments at DHH Med Spa in Scottsdale. Full facial rejuvenation encompasses a variety of procedures for a more youthful appearance. Areas that can be treated include eye bags, eye circles, frown lines, nasolabial folds or smile lines, cheeks, mouth and lips, jowls and sagging skin. Although we are talking about full facial rejuvenation, neck skin should be considered as well during your consultation.

What makes our Medical Grade Facial Rejuvenation so special?

At DHH Med Spa in Scottsdale, full facial rejuvenation treatments are highly individualized. We start with a consultation to determine what your skincare concerns are and what you hope to achieve. Full facial rejuvenation treatment is a specialty of Megan Davies, our board certified Nurse Practitioner. Megan is also one of only 400 nurses in the United States who is board certified in Aesthetics. Megan has been performing dermal fillers and full facial rejuvenation for ten years.

At DHH we offer a variety of services for full facial rejuvenation to target loose skin. Your treatment plan for full facial rejuvenation may include Sculptra, dermal fillers, facials, microneedling with radiofrequency, skin tightening procedures or other recommended treatments.

How often should I get facial rejuvenation treatments?

Your full facial rejuvenation plan will be customized to you. Your healthcare provider will give you a plan for how often you should receive your full facial rejuvenation treatments.

Why should I chose full facial rejuvenation at DHH Med Spa versus seeing a board certified plastic surgeon for a surgical facelift?

Surgical facelift by a board certified plastic surgeon is a great option for face rejuvenation treatment. In our Scottsdale office, we sometimes do recommend facial plastic surgery to our clients, especially those with excess skin from the aging process. During the consultation we review areas of concern and discuss if non-surgical or surgical options are best.

At DHH Med Spa many clients seek us out because they do not want to undergo a surgical procedure, whether it is the risk associated with surgical facelift, cost, or even downtime. For those patients we do tell them we have non-surgical procedure options for the whole face which will result in natural looking, more youthful you.

How often should I receive dermal fillers for full facial rejuvenation?

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid filler which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Multiple areas can be treated with hyaluronic acid filler to create the appearance of a subtle lift. Although not equivalent to a surgical facelift, hyaluronic acid can be helpful for adding volume in areas of volume loss. Depending on which hyaluronic acid was used, fillers can last 9 months to 2 years or sometimes longer. Some people decide to stage fillers and treat one or two areas at a time while others would prefer significant improvements and decide to treat the entire face.

What is the most commonly used product at DHH Med Spa for full facial rejuvenation?

At DHH Med Spa in Scottsdale we are the number 1 provider of Sculptra Aesthetic in the state of Arizona. We love Sculptra for full facial rejuvenation to reduce the appearance of fine lines and for so many other reasons! Sculptra works by helping your create more of your own collagen. It is not a filler, but a biostimulator. The product does require multiple injections. After a few months, no active ingredient is in the body. The results are a natural, more youthful and rested appearance. Unlike filler, this product works on skin quality and texture as well. Wrinkles are diminished and skin is much improved. Sculptra can also be used in the neck.

Commonly treated areas with Sculptra to combat the aging process include temples, cheeks, chin, jawline, marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Areas that should be avoided area tear troughs and lips which would benefit more from a dermal filler. If desiring a more defined chin, sometimes a combination of Sculptra and dermal filler gives the best result.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is still, after over 10 years, the gold standard for non-surgical lifting and tightening. The procedure is performed with an ultrasound and is truly a lunchtime procedure with no incisions and rarely any bruising. This is a great option on its own, or in combination with fillers and botox. Ultherapy can be performed regardless of age, when loose or sagging skin is a concern and is great for lifting the brows and can be considered a non-surgical facelift.

Ultherapy is great for the eye area. It can lessen wrinkles, raise eyebrows and give a subtle lift all without surgery or downtime. Ultherapy can also be used around the mouth for those pesky “smoker’s lines”.

Is there any non-surgical treatment that replaces eyelid surgery?

Options that can help lift the lid include Upneeq eyedrops and botox. For eyelid tightening Ultherapy is the best non-surgical option. PDO threads and dermal filler can also raise the eyelid and perhaps delay the need for eyelid surgery. As with any full face rejuvenation treatment, consult with your provider about the best options for you.
