You may ask: Does Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau (neuromodulators) work on crow’s feet? Yes, absolutely we will tell you! This is an office tried and true favorite and considered one of the best and easiest procedures for crow’s feet. A touch of Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau (generally 20-25 units) relaxes those muscles to prevent the lines from occurring, in turn giving you a break from those deep crow’s feet developing or worsening. Though this is a fantastic treatment to correct crow’s feet, depending on how deep the lines are it may take a dual treatment approach.
Neuromodulator treatments typically last around 3 months until your body starts to metabolize the product and the affects wear off. Overtime, the lines will soften due to less movement and line formation. Lines don’t happen overnight, and neither do corrective treatments. After receiving this treatment, you will receive a Facial Moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and a Facial Smoothing Fluid, which is an 8% glycolic serum, to aide in the process of exfoliation to leave your skin glowing. Hydration is the key to this treatment, so it is recommended to use the moisturizer multiple times throughout the day to maintain your skin moisture barriers. Dermal fillers can typically last one year depending on the product used. We always recommend trying to restore your collagen naturally first, with the treatments mentioned above. However, Sculptra is a more natural alternative to filler, and works similar to these other treatments by stimulating collagen. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that helps repair the underlying structure of the skin. This will add fullness to the face and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
